Caregiver Support Retreat
We will also honor what is profoundly meaningful about supporting special needs individuals— the ways these individuals expand our hearts, deepen our capacity for love, and bring unique gifts into this world, no matter the level of impairment or the challenges they face.
By giving yourself this kind of care, you are not stepping away from caregiving— you're strengthening it. When caregivers are cared for, they are better able to show up with greater presence, compassion, and resilience for the individuals who depend on them.
This retreat is well-suited for caregivers who have walked through significant challenges and are seeking deeper understanding, personal growth, and a more peaceful, enlightened way of meeting the ongoing demands of caregiving— while honoring both themselves and the individuals they support.
The Caregiver Support Retreat is for parents and caregivers of individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions. It is an opportunity to heal some of the wounds that can develop from years of caregiving, and to learn how to meet ongoing challenges from a more peaceful and sustainable place— without minimizing how hard it can be.
This intimate experience will include ancient yogic practices that weave together gentle movement, breathing, and chanting, along with Ayurvedic-inspired nourishment and non-psychoactive ceremonial experiences to support greater clarity, steadiness, and inner peace. Participants will be empowered with practical tools and embodied practices they can take home and effectively integrate into their day-to-day lives, supporting meaningful and lasting change beyond the retreat itself.
Set in coastal Delaware overlooking the bay, each participant will have their own room in a comfortable, nourishing environment. With a small group of caregivers, there is space for true rest, reflection, and meaningful connection.
